Welcome to Haunted Holymoorside

Haunted Holymoorside is a collection of reports of unexplained phenomena from around the village of Holymoorside, on the eastern edge of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. Whilst this site centres on Holymoorside, reports from the surrounding areas are also featured. This includes the hamlets of Old Brampton, Stonedge, Uppertown, Wadshelf and the western suburbs of Chesterfield, including Walton, Brampton and Upper Newbold.

Unexplained phenomena is defined as anything observed that is not explainable, from traditional ghostly apparitions and poltergeists through to phantom animals and UFOs. If you have had your own experience of unexplained phenomena, please consider sharing your story to contribute to this site.
